In the near future, motor sports can also be induced to use LPG. Who knows what it will bring? Formula One race cars use a special fuel that gives those big engines the boost to power around at high speeds. However, research is continuing on how best to improve the performance of engines run on LPG that will make them comparable to special fuels used in motor sports. Even big motor vehicles such as sports utility vehicles (SUVs) can be made to run on LPG without any noticeable loss of engine power. It may be just a matter of properly rigging the conversion kits on the engine valves to make everything work smoothly. Motoring associations can be encouraged to stage races using LPG instead of the usual petrol or diesel.

Nobody will probably take notice that a motor sports vehicle is run on LPG except the drivers themselves. The spectators may even appreciate more a motor race run entirely on LPG since it helps the environment while providing them with entertainment and fun. Many audiences are sometimes concerned about the extravagant use of precious petrol resources to hold these races and using LPG instead will be appreciated especially by the environmental minded members of the audience. Children can also be educated on the benefits of using LPG since they will inherit the Earth later on. Succeeding generations will be benefited from clean air and fewer demands on dwindling resources such as crude oil.

Who knows if motorcycles can also be converted to LPG? This is a distinct possibility since the principle of engine combustion is the same. The only foreseeable roadblock is how to install a miniature gas tank securely on the back of a bike but that is not really technically impossible to do. What is difficult might be public acceptance of such an idea. Using LPG on motorcycles is even a bigger gas saver than using LPG on far larger cars and light trucks.
